- Check “cri” not in disabled_plugins in /etc/containerd/config.toml
- In /etc/containerd/config.toml, section “[plugins.”io.containerd.grpc.v1.cri”]” ensure sandbox_image is “registry.k8s.io/pause:3.9”
- In /etc/containerd/config.toml, section “[plugins.”io.containerd.grpc.v1.cri”.containerd.runtimes.runc.options]” ensure SystemdCgroup is “true”
- Add “cgroup_memory=1 cgroup_enable=memory” to end of /boot/cmdline.txt
sudo systemctl disable dphys-swapfile
- Reboot
New Cluster
sudo kubeadm init --pod-network-cidr=10.244.0.0/16
mkdir -p $HOME/.kube
sudo cp -i /etc/kubernetes/admin.conf $HOME/.kube/config
sudo chown $(id -u):$(id -g) $HOME/.kube/config
kubectl apply -f https://github.com/flannel-io/flannel/releases/latest/download/kube-flannel.yml
Join Cluster
- On master node,
kubeadm token create
to get token
- If hash needed, on master node,
openssl x509 -pubkey -in /etc/kubernetes/pki/ca.crt | openssl rsa -pubin -outform der 2>/dev/null | \
openssl dgst -sha256 -hex | sed 's/^.* //'
- On new node,
sudo kubeadm join --token <token> <control-plane-host>:<control-plane-port> --discovery-token-ca-cert-hash sha256:<hash>
